Venezuela's national port authority has signed deals with Cargotec and with Miami-based Cargo Equipment Solutions, Inc Following months of negotiations, Venezuela's Boliviana de Puertos SA (Bolipuertos) has signed deals for container handling and transport equipment, reefer power packs and ancillary equipment, mostly for Puerto Cabello and La Guaira. It is understood that reefer power packs and bomb carts (numbers not known) are coming from Cargo Equipment Solutions, Inc, based in Miami. Cargotec has reported that it is supplying 28 Kalmar reach stackers, including four dedicated EC machines, along with three dedicated EC mast trucks, four general purpose 16t FLTs and 19 Kalmar Ottawa yard tractors.
